Mav in Swim Class

I'm taking swim classes just like Talley now!
I cried throughout the first few classes, but I'm starting to calm down and enjoy some parts now. I like it when we blow bubbles in the water and play with toys on the step. The hot shower when we get out is nice too.

Rockin' the Potty

After our California trip, I agreed to get serious about potty training.  Daddy and Mommy came up with some effective bribery (playing rights to a Snow White doll and Little People school bus toy) to keep me motivated.  I'm happy to say, I am now diaper free during the days and using the big potty for pee and poop with ease!  I've only had a couple accidents since I started and those were because I was just having so much fun I didn't want to pause for a potty break.  I am still wearing a diaper at night; however, I have been keeping it dry.  If I have to go in the middle of the night, I just holler to Daddy and Mommy to come help me out.  Daddy and Mommy are so proud of me and I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself too.  And the best part of all - I get to wear cute undies now!

Johnanna Visit

At the end of February, Uncle John and Aunt Joanna came to visit us from Arizona.  We had lots of fun while they were here, just hanging out, playing, and catching up on hugs and kisses.  Here are some pics from their visit:

Don't Panic

Ok, try not to freak out and just guess what happened:

a) I am auditioning for a baby role in the next Twilight film

b) I had a friend for breakfast

c) Toothbrushing accident

d) I vandalized Talley's paint easel

If you guessed d, you are correct!  Mommy left the room briefly to get batteries for a toy and this is how she found me when she returned.  I'd been wanting to get my mouth on Talley's paints ever since I first laid eyes on them.  I saw a window of opportunity and I acted fast! Fortunately, they are non-toxic, washable paints and Mommy was able to clean me up quickly.  After she sent a terrifying picture text to Daddy, of course :)

Quarantine

Maverick and I got hit with a bad bug and had to be quarantined at home in the middle of February.  Although feeling sick is no fun, we did find some of the sick treatment to be enjoyable.

Yay for More Snow Play!

When another storm came through, Mommy took me outside to photograph me doing all the fun things you're supposed to do when it snows, ie

shoveling snow (my favorite),

building a mini snow man,

sledding (Mommy's workout for the day),

and making snow angels.

Pookie and Bubba enjoyed the snow too. 

Playing fetch with Bubba with snowballs is hilarious. The snowballs always get lost in the white sheet of powder which baffles Bubba endlessly.

Once we were done playing in the snow, we came inside to warm up with a nice cup of hot cocoa.

P.S.  You may be pondering Maverick's whereabouts on this fun snow day.  Unfortunately, Mav was only able to join us via baby monitor because he was under the weather and napping indoors.  We'll have to make up for it when he's better.  Missed you, Brother!
