On April 28th, we went to historic Genoa with Daddy and Mommy and our friends Miss Shilo, Mr. Jason, and Elijah for the Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival. Genoa was founded in 1850 and was the first settlement in what became the Nevada Territory. The community was the home Nevada's first hotel, newspaper and court. While there, we saw some horses, ate some bbq, ran about in the park area, and listened to some real old skool Nevada music. Here are some pics from our day trip:
