Fall in Love

Fall came and went too quickly!  We definitely enjoyed it while it lasted, though.  Above are some pics of us playing in the yard, enjoying the fallen leaves and cool-but-not-too-cold weather.

Mav at 11 Months Old

At eleven months old, I'm starting to appreciate the finer things in life, like perusing books and drinking good wine.  Ok, maybe throwing books and whining is more like it.  :)

Though, I'm not toddling unaided yet, I am a turbo jet with my walker toy now.  I'm also getting sharper at understanding things.  I give head shakes "no" when I don't want to do something.   I give a smile or blank stare when I don't mind one way or another.  And I squeal and bounce when I'm excited.

You can expect some major squealing and bouncing as I turn one year old because I anticipate I will be turning some milestones into stepping stones!

Disney on Ice

To celebrate being two and three quarters old, Daddy and Mommy took me to see Disney on Ice in early November!  A-MAZING!  All the princesses were there, as well as Peter Pan and Alice.  I was completely captivated throughout the show.  Lots of little princesses in the audience dressed up for the occasion.  I wore my Belle costume, of course.  I've posted some pics below. 

Now, this is a girl having the time of her life!

Halloween Hoopla

Unfortunately, Maverick didn't get to go out on Halloween night.  He was sick with croup.  The pictures of him in his costume above were taken weeks later when he was feeling better.  The pics below are the ones that were taken on actual Halloween.

 

Poor croupy baby!  His first Halloween was a pretty miserable one.  He did still enjoy the pre-Halloween activities, though.  And he did still look cute even though his eyes were so sad.  Halloween will be better next year, Baby Brother!

RTC Bus Tour

At the end of October, we did a RTC bus tour excursion with MOMS Club.  The tour included a nice ride around town and a trip through the bus wash!  We also got to see a neat vintage bus and a new articulated bus with pivoting joint.  So cool!  It was an awesome adventure that I still love talking about.
